Previously, the American Theatre Organ Society had entered into a partnership agreement with the University of Oklahoma which established the Theatre Organ Archive and Library at the American Organ Institute. In 2019 the University of Oklahoma, much to our dismay, made the decision to eliminate the American Organ Institute. At that time the Board of Directors entered into negotiations with the Organ Historical Society to relocate our archives to their archive facility. The move took place in the fall of 2020, and the current ATOS archives are being housed with the Organ Historical Society Library and Archives in Villanova, Pennsylvania. Continued archival work will be done in this new facility.
